Government Should Do More to Prevent Foreclosures: Obama

In a recent interview on a private news channel, President-elect Barack Obama has criticized the government policies on the rising instances of foreclosures in the US. In his opinion the job done by the government so far is not enough to prevent foreclosures and more is required to be done to help families who have lost their homes. It is however reported that the officials of Obama and Bush are in near agreement over the utilization of remaining $350 billion financial bailout funds. During the interview, Obama has urged his economic team to think and develop a plan that can ensure transparency in the utilization of available funds and combat the economic crisis effectively.
