NAHB Poll Survey Favors Buyer Tax Credit

A nationwide consumer poll conducted by the National Association of Home Builders finds more people in support of $15,000 home buyer tax credit as has been included in the stimulus bill passed by the Senate this week only.

The sample taken for the survey consisted of 1,200 respondent out of which a third was in favor of the move. About 61 percent of renters showed their interest in buying homes if they were provided with the aforesaid tax credit.
